My name is Tom Reber and I’m the man behind The Contractor Fight

When I started my painting business in 2002, I didn't have a clue what I was getting into. Five hard years later I couldn't take my family out for ice cream without worrying if there was enough money in my checking account to cover the bill.

After a lot of trial and error, I figured it out and sold my successful business to my partner in 2012. Since then, it’s been my goal to bring respect and dignity back to the trades. And a HUGE part of that respect is for contractors to respect themselves by protecting their time and charging what they're worth.

Contractors are the backbone of America. You beautify peoples’ homes. You keep shit running. You make daily life possible for millions of people across the country.

So why is it that you don’t have a seat at the table?

Why is it that doctors, lawyers, government officials, accountants, managers, IT professionals, and more are all EXPECTED to make at least $100k and contractors aren’t?

Working with your hands is a noble calling. Let’s treat it as one.
